Family Trip to Ganpati Pule - I

This is about my family trip(Mom, Dad, Sis and of course me)to this awesome seaside/beach cmalled Ganpati Pule. This was during the Diwali week.

Well we started around at 7 am on Sunday. Initial plan was to go thru Mahabaleshwar. So with that in mind I reached Katraj Ghat. But sadly, the tunnel was shut due to some work. So I did a 180 and headed for Tamhini Ghat via Mulshi. This was gud as I could show my parenhts the Mulshi dam also. Neways, Tamhini Ghat was an awesome ghat with gr8 views. I saw such beuty that I got bored with it. Neways from Tamhini we took the Srivardhan road to NH-17 on our ways to Poladpur. That was an amazigly sttep ghat but thankfully the road was veryu decent. So we reached poladpur around 1 pm. From there we headed to Ganpati Pule. Amazing drive with gr8 ghats. We stopped at chiplun for lunch around at 3:30 or something. From there Dad took over driving and we reached Ganpati Pule around 6:30. We already had booking in MTDC Resorts. We just unpacked and ate out dinner and went to sleep.

Weekends Gone Byyyyyyyy

Well, the highlights of the last 2 weekends was I cooked. Well am not much of a cook tho. So I downloaded a few receipts from the net. The previous weekend, I made Goan Chicken Curry with Lemon rice. My sister said it was too gud. Hopefully it was:)

Now last weekend I did a bit more. I cooked Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani with Indian Chicken Chop(basically Mirchi Gosht). That was really awesome even if I may say so.

Tht goes the 2 weekends. This weekend if everything works out, I might go to Goa(finally).

Party

In totally forgot about the party I had at my place last week. With all diwali and the Ganpati Pule trip I had.

Neways, we had a blast with all the right stuff and right ppl. Excepts for tht fat ass Ashyish Madkaikar.

Pune -> Kolhapur -> Gaganbauda -> Ganpati Pule -> Mahabaleshwar -> Pune

Gr8 trip. We covered like 800 km in like 36 hrs.

It went like this.

I left at 6:30 am (whew!!!1)and went to Frodo's place and then had some tea. Then we picked up Bala and Annie and headed for kolhapur. Had some food on the way. Reached Kolhapur at around 12:30 pm. Had those marbles popping sodas. After a long time and it tasted amazing.

Then we reached GaganBauda. Here the famous baba Gagangiri Maharaj has his temple. The ghat was awesome. We saw a komodo dragon. Cdn't take a pic tho. It ran away. :(.

Anyways, reached Balas bro's place 4:30 pm. Had loads of food tht I thot my stomach wd burst.

Lest at around 6 to Ganpati pule. Reached there at 9 pm. Booked our room and took beer and food to beach. Spent like 2 hrs there. Went to sleep in the hotel/. Wokeup at around 8. Did Darshan of Ganpati. Left around 9:30 am.

Ate loads of fish and rice in Chiplun and then heade home. Did some TP in Mahabi and then reached Pune at 8.

Went to kiwas and had some beer and a long island iced tea. Reached home at 2 pm.

Have you ever felt alive when you wakeup in the morning? Like the time I read Hitchhikers guide, I was so boosted next morning, totally ready to conquer everything, win everything. So energized like duracell.

And the rest of time 99%, I wakeup wishing I was daed,. It would be much better, than dragging thru the day, fucked up abd wallowing in self pity. Somehow, just crawling, wishing I could just go home and go to sleep.

And then, their are days, when I wakeup just normal. Just taking life as it comes. Not trying to overdo myself. Just living rest to fate, and doing my chores.

Past 2 weeks of nothing

Past 2 weeks the only think I did was rest. Slept and playted guitar and watched tv.
Tho last week we partied at Tony Da Dhaba. But that was it. Nothing much.

Planning to go to Malshej this weekend. Lets c wht happens.

Trip to my inner self

Sometimes, I feel its sad to be a Bengali(or as they say Bong). We people are just too sentimental. Always, dwelling in our past.

So much so that I sometimes watch those crap bengali serials nowadays. Ah man!! wht shite??

Neways, being so sentimental and nostalgic is not gud 4 health esp. when u dont know when u r going back to Calcutta agaun. Its been 5 yrs mate.

Sometimes I just wish to go there with my parents and sis and just have fun. U know like, put up in a hotel and just roam. Jedike du chokh chai. Not even tell neone that we are coming. Wish that day comes fast.

The sentiments are getting heavy day by day.

Steps:

Tamhini Ghat 

Trip To Tamhini

Ahh we went on a trip again this week.

Me and Aj.
We went to Tamhini Ghat. Its a ghat near Mulshi around 120 km from Pune and connects to konkan.

I still remember, it was a Fuck All Saturday morning and Pune being Pune woke me up with a cloudy weather.

So up and away to my Guiatar Class.

Aj call me and I call Aj and we agrre to meet at my place.

I give a couple of more call to Annie, Maddy and Sammy but negative response.

So hence we had lunch (Aj and I) with Ritz, Frodo and Maddy and we pushed towards Mulshi.

The road unexpectedly and blessedly was great and we rea ched Mulshi.

The lake looked a sea , so awesome and boggling.

Seeing this and being a nature lover, I say, Ajay man lets drive as far as we can.

And hence we drove till Tamhini Ghat. Roads were awesome and we reached a place full of cloude.

Rest we went back and met Jibu and a great chat.

Aj treated me to food and liquids in Symphony and went home.

Trip To Mahabaleshwar

Another gr8 trip on my car to Mahabaleshwar.

This one thanks to KD Boi(I know modesty doesnt allow u)for the idea of the trip(no that was mine, he gave the destination)and the snaps.

Well, lets start in the beginning.

KD boi being a biker that he is, suddenly made a random trip to Hyderabad on his ZMA.

So I said, lets do something in my car and hence came Mahabi.

So, on Sat we go to Mahabi, after I gave Shasax, his dough and heard the gr8 news of his future in laws coming to meet him. Aunty, made chowmein which was awesome. And I being a gourmet that I am never say no to good food. Hey Shasax, congrats man.

Neways, after searching and seeking a lot, I found KD boi. And we went.

Going KD drove and lemme me tell u, it gives u more adrenaline than being chased by a lion(tho I havnt experienced that I can tell).

The Katraj ghat is what Katraj ghat was which is fuck all.

But rest of the way was awesome. The khambatki ghat was aming and so was the rest of the way. In the middle KD took me to this table top place off road which was an awesome place.

Next we went to Mapro Garden where we had Pizaa and Veg Grilled Sandwich and thich strawberry shake which was awesome. I suggest all of u try it out.Saw a gud chick in jean skirt with spects and nath. No offence meant lady but u were awesome,and made our day (carpe diem baby). But I am digressing.

Next we went to Mahabaleshwar but the arseloch demanded an entry fee of 12 per person and 30 for the car. So we said fucat and we went back.

I drove on the way down, KD took pics.It was awesome driving on ghat. Oh, btw did I tell u we had beer on the way back. We rea ched KDs place and some more beer and then I went back home.

All in all, excitable and exhausting day.

Trip to Mumbai

First long trip to Mumbai in my car.

I was with 2 friends. We went via Expressway. A one of the guys took snaps in his cell. Chk them.

All in all it was uneventful except for the rush of adrenaline u get when driving in high speeds. We stopped at a food mall for food(isnt it obvious?? no we smoked also. Reached Vashi in 3 hrs coz of bad roads.

Ah home!!!Home Sweet Home. Talking to Pops and Ma and eating hgome cooked food. It heaven. Nothing ever compares to that.

U only need tyo stay away for longtime to understand that feeling of bliss.

Next day my relatives cames. We took the car to Vashi and some stupid mother!@#$%^ made a dent in my car. I am gonna kill that arseloch. Cdnt do it at tht time(my family was there). Neways doesnt matter except that those 2 fuckers gonna die.

Monday, I took my parents and mashi to Panvel to a mandir and then to Sai Baba temple in Panvel. Tuesday morning a friend and I came back.

Bunked office on Tuesday.Remisced and played guitar all day.

Monsoon + Place I Stay = Rocks + Holes + Jams

Perfect ingredients for a rock band!!!!!! hahaha.

My friend came to office from A**** in 70 mins. Man, u gotta luv P*** at this time. And better for ppl with 4 wheelers. They can sprinkle water on 2 wheelers.

Time to go someplace.

Hope tht our plan for Goa sticks. O.w, will definitely get bored. Oh yes, hope I hv the dough for tht :)

Trip to Khandala

This is one trip I made after such a long time. White Sand, Great beach, Great Sea, and beer. All the elements of a perfect life for a Taurean.

Neways, Aj came to my place at 12. So went to the station and took a bus for Panvel. That was fun. Only for people in the entire bus for the whole journey. So we reached Panvel. But WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wht the hell is that?? It seemed that the entire Mumbai population was there and all heading for Alibaug. Pretty fucked up, eh. Thts wht we thot. So I turned for a mystic to a Warrior and fought my way for a seat for Aj and me. We then went to Penn which is around 30 km from Panvel. From Penn, luckily we got a bus to Kashid(about 55 km from Penn and 33 km from Alibaug).

We finally reached Kashid at 9. Fuck!!!!!! Wht a trip. Not a singlr person on the road. And the sound of seas. It was amazing. SO we met this fellow and he told us we could stay at his place(He had a room on the terrace). So we stayed there. We had amazinf fish curry(Pomfret for the Gourmets). Then we headed for the beach.

Has neone seen the ocean at night?? U just keep on staring at the foam. The rythmic flow of waves. The sound of them crashing. Also we had a full moon. I was totally blown. It was so nice. Totally elevated.

Ok, now enough of that. We went to our rooms and slept.

Next day we searched and found another room and stayed there. Went to the beach. Got blown again. Drank beer and had lunch.

We went out again in the evening. Our Motive?????

To watch the sunset.

Later tht night after dinner we went again to the beach. I fulfilled my long term dream of drinking beer on the beach.

So the next day we came back. With some gud stuff.

All in all a memorable trip. Definitely realxing and fun.


AND PLEASE PPL, TRY TO KEEP THE BEACHES CLEAN.

That is my demented thot for today. Why am I so bored with my existance. I am in place/position where most people would give their right hand for. But look at me!!!!!

I am bored, and definitely suicidal :). I wake up every morning like a dead man, with no feeling(a Zombie would definitely be right word. So if u hvnt seen a zombie come and c me in the morning!!!).

Why is it that I got such a low bore threshold?? No patience. Happy about a thing today and bored the very next.

I keep on hoping something new will crop up somehow. But then i think whts the freaking use coz I wd get bored with it the very next day.

Nowadays, I dont even feel like talking to neone. I dont call my parents, dont talk to my Sister. Just keep in touch with only two ppl in the whole world.

The only time I am normal is the time when I am st****. I feel noprmal, happy.

Yesterday, I was so frustrated, that I was strumming my guitar so hard, I feared I wd break the strings.

I found out froma friend that, smoking just after eating is equivalent to smoking 10 cigarettes a day.

Trip to Mulshi

Where there is azure sky,

Real cool and pained trip to this dam 60 km from Pune called Mulshi. And we were damned.

Here is the whole story.

Friday is normally the jamming day for me and my friend called Maddy. So as usual at 9:30 pm , Maddy, another fellow called Sachin and me were jamming up. This was the first time I was actually jamming with a person other than Maddy. I did a decent job. Neways it ended at 12:30 apm. As usual with Maddy he felt hungry. So we went out. And I suddenly said,lets go out and jam.

So their at 1:30 am we went on our way to Mulshi. Gud tri, it was. Lotsa stars and hills. But it was friggin cold. And we didnt even have warm clothes. We reached their at 4:30 AM. And guess what??.............

NO PLACE TO STAY!!!!!!!!!!

Total silence. Nobody walking. And all we could dream was a good sleep and a warm blanket. Finally we got a place to stay. It was a damp room, with plasters coming out.

We slept till 10. Woke up and started jamming. At 2:30 we wnt to see the dam and ofcourse had beer. Went to home at 6.

The whole next Sunday, we nursed our backs and legs.

Good trip. But would do it agin next year.

Sinhagad Trip

This week, I had a great trip to a fort in Pune. Its called Sinhagad fort. We reached there at 9 pm. Me and teo friends and two guitars. It was a total moonless night. Couldnt see a damned thing. We had some fries called bhajji with a very spicy sauce. Then we went up to the fort on stairs. It was amazing.To the wind point. Had a great time jamming up.

We stayed there till maybe 3. And then came down.

What trip!!!! Couldnt see anything. No sound. Only 3 of us going down that to without any source of light. But was fun.

Neways reached home at 5 am. And simply and literally crawled to bed.
